    Día de los Muertos with Universidad Popular

    With Universidad Popular, San Marcos

    We build an altar, we say the names of our dead, and we eat together with our neighbors from Universidad Popular. Christians have always kept a feast for the faithful departed. This one is kept in Spanish and English, with the people who live here.

    The four Wednesdays before it

    • Oct 7 The history of Día de los Muertos and All Saints Day Matthew is sharing.

    • Oct 21 Sugar skulls Hosted at Restoration Abbey.
    • Oct 28 Lifting the ofrenda

    The time is confirmed closer to the date. Everyone is welcome, and no Spanish is required. Several of the October gatherings need hands, and so does the dinner. Come on a Sunday or text us if you can help.
